I'll start off with the good because that won't take very long. The staff were friendly and somewhat helpful. When we realized that the house wasn't equipped with an ice maker they quickly sent over an employee with several ice trays.
We have stayed with Treasure Realty twice and have had good experiences with them for rental management. They are a big organization, so if you have service issues it is important to call early and often, but in our most recent experience of an extended internet outage and some quality issues with the home, they offered a token discount and addressed our concerns in a professional and timely manner. We will continue to happily rent through Treasure Realty in the future.

We always rent from them. We have done a condo and a house now. Always friendly and helpful. We will continue our business with them when going to Top Sail!
Lesson learned. Won't be renting with treasure again.
Now for the bad. We rented 4334 Island Drive and trust me it was not cheap. So we were really surprised to find that the house is dirty, in disrepair and some rooms were over furnished while other were lacking in the most basic furniture. The house was gross. And I understand that most rentals aren't going to be pristine but this one was particularly bad. Upon arrival we found that they still hadn't picked up the linens from the previous week's renters (it's now Wednesday and they still haven't picked these up) so I'm not sure that anyone ever actually cleaned the house. There are dirty rugs all over the main level. I mean so gross that I would be afraid to walk on them without my shoes one. There are also bath mats in random places on the main level and even one on the deck. The furniture is gross. You can see the sweat stains and dirt on the couch. The bathrooms were pretty yucky. Pretty sure they haven't cleaned the master shower in a year. There are massive water stains on the ceilings of various rooms, there are clearly several leaks in the house. The balcony off the master doesn't lock (great if you have little kids) and I'm pretty sure it's going to fall off the house at any moment. There is a table on the deck which was clearly set on fire at some point and half of it was burned beyond repair. Not sure why it's still here. The carpet upstairs is disgusting. And speaking of stairs- the interior stairs are in bad shape, there are several areas where the wood has clearly rotted. Same with the garage stairs and landing. I'll be shocked if we make it through the week without someone putting their foot through the stairs. One of the bedrooms is missing a mattress. The master has a mattress with missing or loose springs- makes for a great nights sleep. The other bedroom upstairs doesn't even have a dresser to put clothes in.
Lost an entire night and day on a weeks vacation and had to demand they come over to fix the situation so I would not lose the second day but they kept saying they had to talk to the owner before they could come and make any remedies. Before you can even come… What? My contract is with them not the owner which I mentioned to them but they said they had to wait... I did not pay that kind of money to babysit the house while I was at the beach. Worse yet it took them 89 days to tell me they were sorry. This after I had spent two previous summers with them and had no issues… I guess you truly don't know someone until you go through a little adversity. Epic fail... terrible customer service! Never again!
